They think WE’RE stupid and we think THEY’RE stupid...it’s a Mexican stand-off.
Remember these are the same people that said you only need two jabs.
I would not put a lot of stock into what they say.
I know my children care - and I know your mom cares. I guess we just see reality differently than they do, and that makes all the difference.
But, I keep thinking about something Jesus said about dividing parents from children, and it haunts me.
My children do not have the time to research, evaluate, and consider history. They are working long hard hours, with little time left for such. Your mom may be less able to use the internet, and doesn’t realize that she is being misled by an institution she used to trust - I know I once trusted a lot of people that no longer deserve that!
We both are partially estranged from those we love by the success of modern media. How it ends, I have no clue. All we can do is continue to be there for our loved ones when they need us, and forgive them for their inability to look at both sides of the issue.
