Crime data doesn’t the race of the criminals , just the address where the crime was committed
Bleeping liars want to hide that.
The communist purge continues to expand...
I asked why, and she just said the same thing without an answer. I said I wanted to go look at the house anyway, and she agreed to bring me.
Upon arrival, it was the nicest house in that section of the hood. Rest of the neighborhood was trash everywhere, boarded up windows and so on.
Told my agent that I got it, sorry for doubting her. I gathered she just didn't want to tell me that is was "the hood".
Realtors have gotten in trouble, in the past, for steering people to certain neighborhoods, or away from certain areas. There may well be laws and policies, which forbid a realtor from telling you a neighborhood is a bad neighborhood.
Where is the responsible, active local leadership?
The NAR has gone from good to woke.
I hold a broker’s license, but will have nothing whatsoever to do with these people.

We own a small rental complex and the laws against "steering" are amazing.
For instance, if we have a building where most of the existing tenants have small children we are not allowed to suggest that new tenants with small children might like that building. Or that upstairs neighbors might complain less than downstairs ones when kids launch themselves from the couch to the middle of the living room floor.
Even worse, if we have applicants with older family members we are not allowed to suggest that ground floor units might be better.
Look up the pictures of the County Commissioners/Supervisors. It’s really all you need to research.
In New England you just pull the election results from 2016 and 2020.
If you are looking at real estate at one of the (few) towns that went Trump in both elections, you have a winner.
That means the locals hate high property taxes and have zero tolerance for crime.
Stop by the local high school at dismissal time.
Not sure how the distinction you draw is intended or applies. Of course, I made no reference to the color of the leadership, just that it be local (and thus credible and with skin in the game).
In any event, by reference to several metrics a large portion of the black community is at a notable level of distress and objectively appears to be somewhat adrift. It seems clear circumstances could be improved by efficient local leadership, and that leadership would likely be most effective if it was largely black.
Disclaimer: I am not a sociologist. (;^)
I like it—another trick is just to visit the local town hall and walk around—usually a police station is right there and you can peak through the windows.
;-)
“At virtually every step of the way, too often people of color find hurdles in their path, making it difficult to turn their dreams of home ownership into reality.”
That’s a new one to add to the list. Black people, according to liberals, are too stupid to:
Get drivers’ licenses so they prove their identity.
Use the internet.
Hire lawyers and accountants (according to Biden).
Buy houses.
Personally, I think they are generally smart enough to do these things, but they call me a racist.
Some of the safest places in MA would be eliminated using that method.
.
For many purchasing a home is a long term (in some cases lifetime) decision.
The risk of living in a liberal community that is safe now is that the liberals may at some point use the local government to make it unsafe.
That is a chance I would be unwilling to take.
NEVER move to a city that has a street named Martin Luther King Boulevard.
“How ‘bout you taking back your neighborhoods from the criminals who infect it?”
Mainly Caucasian judges would not stand for such action.
Many close-in high-end neighborhoods have a high crime rate.
There’s also the problem that crime rates in major blue cities have shot up.
