That is the one concern the geologists I have been watching/talking to have minor concern about. That a tremor in that area could unzip the Juan De Fuca.
No doubt they are really checking the instruments on the Cascadia right now.

I had several neighbors move out of state right after Northridge. That was a 6.7. I was 50 miles south and didn’t like it one bit. An 8+ and we’d be dying of fright, assuming that the rubble didn’t get us first.
