The drive to make everything "inclusive" is fundamentally flawed.
How can you "celebrate diversity" when everything starts looking homogeneous. When everything includes the same bland mix of the same things... In culinary terms, not every meal should be hash or stew. We need New York Strip, Chicago Pizza, even California quiche.
Celebrate true diversity - some things are exclusively masculine, some thing feminine. And yes, you can even have your 57 categories of "other" - but practice some of that acceptance and tolerance in realizing that I am going to stick to the basics.
