Singing “There’s a hot time in the old town tonight” and we promise that your Wuhan bat dinner and won-tons will be steaming Hot!! You want fries that glow with that?
Thanks for the ping. This is significant if it’s true.
Global warming
Are they just trolling the West’s researchers, want to see where they turn they’re attention after hearing of China’s so-called “accomplishment”?
I’d guess that Prof. Yuntao Song, confronted with “difficulties”, despite having the “perfect team”, is making a gambit to keep the top brass at the CCP happy.
American Thinker the chinese paid propaganda rag said china is behind us and will never catch up.
Funny, nearly every day I see a brand new hi tech invention or development coming out of china but never the US
Basically the earth's atmosphere burns as hot as a star for a few hours using up all the gases, turning it into cyanide. But don't worry we sent them grant money so they could study how to keep that from happening.
Presuming this is not all bullcrap. 70 million Celsius is 1.260000e+8°F— off the scale of any material being able to contain such heat. So is it likely not true.
The whole idea behind it is, to keep this infernal heat away from any material by means and via confinement with an extremely powerful magnetic field. I have a hunch that sooner or later someone will succeed in keeping this fire going and eventually it will replace regular nuclear power plants which depend on fusion.
The heat is contained by a magnetic bottle. IOW an extremely strong magnetic field totally enfolds the heat generated.
So not bull$hit.
What is able to withstand that kind of heat? Nothing I can think of.
“ The heat is contained by a magnetic bottle. IOW an extremely strong magnetic field totally enfolds the heat generated.
So not bull$hit.”
On the other hand, the claim is being made by CHINA, so it’s likely bull$hit.
Lying about their achievements is very common for them. Without Bill Clinton and Loral, they couldn’t even get a rocket off the ground on a regular basis.
How do you contain a substance that is hot enough to melt the Earh itself?
