Rs play by the rules, so if the rules allow ballot harvesting in California......harvest awaaaaaaaay !

Why don't the Rs spend some money and harvest R ballots in California?

(There must be more than a few right-thinking people left in the state who don't bother to vote.)

“whether rogue elements in the Peach State tried to carry it out despite the ban”

When Democrat operatives carried this tactic out nationwide in a coordinated way (and were apparently well paid to do it), it stretches the bounds of reason to call them “rogue elements”.

Same for lawsuits over Obama’s eligibility. Apparently when the shadow government decides that an issue is not for the judiciary to consider, they are able to get every single black robe in the country to fall in line and cower before their decision.

If that’s not the case, then it’s certainly how it appears to an outside observer.

“attempts by Democrats to legalize ballot harvesting in states follows a pattern of using lawsuits and other tools to change election rules to their advantage that often goes unanswered by Republicans”

Oh, the Republicans will answer it, it’s just that we need to vote for them about 73 more times and then they’ll answer it, when it’s too late. And we need to let them blame us for their failure in the meantime.

I believe they began harvesting in the last election in CA, or intend to in November.

The problem is lack of R votes and R volunteers in the state, so it’s ineffective in most areas.

Harvesters could probably be hired however, but still, not enough votes to harvest.

Also don’t forget the the conversation in 2020 about lowering the voting age to 16.

“The problem is lack of R votes and R volunteers in the state, so it’s ineffective in most areas.”

A journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step. It took decades for the GOP to lose its majority in California, it will probably take 20 years to become competitive. First step to getting voters and volunteers is to have a message that resonated with the voters and the willingness to promote it without fear. A weak message, and one delivered with no conviction from a bunch of white country clubbers, isn’t going to attract anyone. Trump gained Hispanic voters across the country despite the left constantly screaming he was a racist and his support of controlled borders. One would think there are hard working second generation Hispanic and Asian small business people who are tired of struggling under the crushing weight of big government who would be responsive to the message of limited government, individual liberty, personal accountability and upward mobility through economic success.

Unfortunately most of the party bosses don’t believe in the message and won’t take any personal risk to promote it. Few will roll up their sleeves and go out into communities preaching the message. Meanwhile the Democrats have their social justice warriors in the community everyday. If you don’t try, and sustain the effort, you will not win.

Agree with all. A quick flip is not realistic, but if anything could initiate an R tsunami, Biden & Co. are it. Harvest the hay while the sun shines (even though there aren’t many bright sunny days there lately.)

The decimation occurring there will catch up before long at the rate they’ve going. The hispanic/asian vote could loom large.
