Let them go hungry for about four days, if they’re really doing without and not sneaking a pizza every day, and then have a big cookout upwind of them.
Show off and conspicuously consume all kinda tasty ribs and aromatic stuff and tasty desserts too. Cherry pie and chocolate cake, with coffee. Yum Yum.

When I was in college, some radical students on campus staged a hunger strike in the plaza on campus. Members of the Young Republicans on campus ordered a bunch of pizzas and sat right in front of them - having a great picnic. The hunger strike didn’t last much longer.
