Knowing that Fauci is a sociopath, my guess is that he knows if he is around in 2023 the GOP House investigations are going to be brutal and he will no longer have the chair there to protect him. He also wants to take credit for knocking out the virus (and saying he was a total success), which will happen naturally this year. Thus, Fauci will retire this Summer.
I had a lot of ball less leaders that used this strategy.

Wasn’t there a recent report that people could show positive for 10 or 12 weeks? Nice paid vacation if you work with the right employer.
It should have been this way from day one. No mandates. No putting sick people in nursing homes instead of hospitals or health care centers. Full access with no perscription to the meds known to cure this and other viruses.
In other words the government must stop working against us like it has been since the slobbering goober took up residence in the White House.
