GFM should refund each and every donor so they can do what they please with the money. This scam is outrageous!
Why not just return the money to the donors? And then maybe go back to sending checks to a P.O. Box for fundraising.
They should have used GiveSendGo. There needs to be a class action to force GiveSendGo to refund the money. They can prorate it for what has already been spent. F’ing Bastards.
Donors should file a major class action lawsuit against GoFundMe and get their money back with damages.

The crowdfunding platform GoFundMe says it will stop payments to the organizers of Freedom Convoy 2022...
Tamara Lich, one of the organizers of the protest’s GoFundMe page, posted a video message on Friday evening directing supporters to a new online fundraiser hosted by a different website.
“Please, if you can donate and help us keep these truckers going, we plan to be here for the long haul,” she said. “As long as it takes to make sure that your rights and freedoms are restored.”
Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson thanked GoFundMe for freezing the fund shortly after the decision was announced.
More than 120,000 donors contributed nearly $10.1 million to the fund.
The company now says it will “work with organizers to send all remaining funds to credible and established charities verified by GoFundMe.” People who donated to the fund can also ask for a refund until February 19.

Instead of having the donors request a refund, they should automatically return funds. GFM probably knows many will not request a refund and it might incur another transaction fee to return.
GoFundMe just ensured that they never get another dollar from me for any reason.
They would prefer to send that money to BLM, etc.
