Was talking with my sister this evening. She’s a died in the wool liberal/CNN watcher, but not nuts about it so I am able to keep a good relationship with her. She said CNN is saying that Russia will invade tomorrow. I asked her (gently) “if they are wrong and it doesn’t start tomorrow will you question your news source?” She said “No!” Not sure what else to do without breaking the relationship.
If the US military gets involved it won’t be a reprise of Syria where we whacked 300+ Ruskie mercs in 20 minutes. If this balloon goes up and gets out of control there could be bodies right here at home.
