The war is 2 days old. Hardly evidence Russia can’t or won’t win this. If Russia is still unable to get control 20 days from now, then we can start this kind of talk.

Amazing that “mighty Russia” can’t handle a rag tag NATO wannabe nation.

Kiev was totally calm last night on the live cams. Putin is not invading. He’s carrying out a surgical military strike. He’s not trying to annihilate the Ukrainian military.

The only thing for Putin and his supporters to do is to go is to hell.

You can’t even keep your consecutive posts consistent:

Previous post: “This was not an invasion to occupy.”
Very next post: “Putin is not invading.”

Trollin’, trollin’, trollin’

My understanding is that Crimea and the two “independent” republics in the east are mostly Russophones, culturally more Russian, and with many Russian citizens. Thus, there wasn’t a lot of popular support for the Ukrainian government in these areas.

It seems western Ukraine is different.

Can’t be going too well for Putin if he is wanting to negotiate already.

I also don’t think Russian soldiers are motivated to put their lives at risk. They have seen many of their comrades killed or wounded in a war they have no personal stake in. My guess is they will avoid any situations where the might get killed.

Urban warfare is one of those situations, especially when tanks don’t do much good in city fighting, especially when snipers can shoot from distance and anti-tank mines are easily hidden. Snipers knocking off Infantry in front of tanks to sweep for mines can be a huge deterrent.

Wars frequently do NOT go as planned. The Germans had the "Schlieffen Plan" in WWI which was certain to work...until it didn't. Hitler expected the quick collapse of Russia when he launched Operation Barbarossa which at first seemed to be happening...until it didn't. The Bolsheviks were certain to overrun Poland in 1920 until...they were defeated. China was certain to defeat Vietnam when they invaded that country in 1979...until they had to retreat.

If Russia fails in his invasion of Ukraine (and especially if he is forced out of office as a result) China could end up as very RELUCTANT to invade Taiwan because wars almost never go as expected.

I’ll admit I initially thought Putin was only going to clean up the two separatist states that he was getting ready to recognize but I guess he decided to clean out the whole rats nest.

Taking out those 6 US bio labs that I was outraged to learn about will mean Bill Gates has to look elsewhere for his next pandemic. No wonder the Biden regime is having a hissy fit. Good bye to their money laundering operation, their child trafficking, and their drug running.

It appears the Russians are concentrating on military bases and international operations because if the Russian army has not entered any of the major Ukrainian cities it because they don’t want to.

Putin is doing the world a favor by taking out the NWO cabal that has been using the Ukraine as their playground for years. What does Putin get out of all this? International condemnation, his own people are kissed off, his lines of credit disrupted. For what?

Things are not as they seem. I’m pretty sure Trump isn’t upset about this. He’s mouthing a few tepid platitudes but he knows what’s going on.

I’ll be surprised if in 2-3 weeks from now there hasn’t been some agreement reached and Putin heads home.
