This is actually a very good idea. Kicking Russian students out of the US and sending them home is likely to make the Russian people even more angry at Putin.
Let the CCP wonder if we would do the same thing to Chinese students and academics if they invaded Taiwan. The Chinese are watching this very closely to see if our response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine is something they believe they could tolerate if they want after taiwan. So every screw we can turn tighter on Russia that does not involve US military forces should be used.

I’m good with that, for several reasons:
1. Because they are European, many already speak English, and if not, they will readily learn.
2. Europeans will quickly assimilate into US society and culture.
3. European immigrants, much like most Asian immigrants typically don’t rely on social services like welfare for multiple generations. They may depend on it when they arrive, but they are typically self-sufficient by the time their children are grown.
4. Almost 90% of Ukrainians identify as Christian and less than 1% are Moose Limbs. They and their children will be a valuable addition to our nation.
