No way, this is all part of the plan. They’re destroying the oil markets. From the rubble will come more green energy. The red headed bimbo already said Biden wont respond with more drilling, he will respond with more green energy.

If Biden doesn’t resurrect Trumps energy policies, the country is headed for a major recession. Look for the stock marked to correct to about 15k.

To every DemoRat, Indie or RINO-crat still in TDS mode or in support of the Sleepy regime any of this stolen election induced pain upon them is well deserved. To those whose eyes were opened and now renounce those corrupted frauds well, better late than never. Just make sure it’s never again.

That would be something to see. Wonder if Russia and China would use nukes?

Phoenix at $3.99 everywhere. They’re trying to hold the line on $4, but it won’t be long.

I started thinking this yesterday too. Russia is a paper tiger. Putin may very well get wacked by his own people.
The result would be chaos. China would see this as an opportunity. Invade Siberia and steal their resources.

Not too far from Clancy’s “The Bear and the Dragon”

"I think China is going to make a play for the Russian Far East."

Didn't someone write a book about that a few years back?

Said that China needed the natural resources there.

Now that’s an interesting possibility.

Regular gas in central Illinois is ~$3.90, a 30 cent increase from last week. My car uses premium gas so I am guessing $4.50 now. Gases prices have doubled in just over a year.

The stupidity of Virtue Signaling and Wokeness is unreal. So your giving up a Multi-Billion enterprise based on Short Term thinking rather than long term thinking and hurting your lines of supply and your shareholders.

How will China move on Taiwan? They don’t have to, in the fullness of time they will get Taiwan, they don’t want to destroy infrastructure and factories that they need. They will take the long view even if it is 50 years. They are in no hurry.

“Why do I think this is just an excuse to explain away why a gallon of gas at the pumps now costs so much more?”

I don’t know why. BP doesn’t give a darn about excuses for the price of oil.

By taking actions to make it cost even more still.

Oh by the way, oil got up to $98 in overnight trading, which is usually an indicator of where it’s headed next.

Also, Joe just delayed more permitting.

IIRC, Clancy’s Red Storm Rising scenario was never considered so the US War College adopted it and started teaching it.

BP has "gone green" along time ago, and has virtually done everything but public self-flagellation to atone for their sins against Mother Earth while denouncing their core business as evil.

There are no sane or honest public corporation CEOs any more, multinationals have become as corrupt, dishonest, and detached as any politician.
