Pooty’s blowing up Ukrainian civilians by the yacht-full, and threatening nukes, and we have people on here whining about the legality of seizing a yacht from one of his principal enablers? Incredible! This site is turning into a nest of traitors.

I'm not sure I'd call them traitors, they do seem primed for believing propaganda and being gaslit though. If that's out of their hatred for Biden and wanting this shitshow to go on as long as possible to make him look bad, I cannot say.

I honestly don't know how much worse we can make Biden look after he greenlighted Putin's invasion by saying upfront no American intervention vis a vis troops would be involved.

That's NOT saying I'm for troops in Ukraine as I'm not. A President should NEVER take that threat off the table, period. It was probably the one thing that kept Putin out of Ukraine until Biden's dumbass comment that we wouldn't put boots on the ground to defend Ukraine.

So I really don't know how much "worse" Biden can possibly look right now and backing Putin IMO is flat out wrong. He invaded a sovereign country. And he did so AFTER Biden greenlighted it.

IMO this is Bidens War. He created it. He allowed it to happen and everything he's doing after the fact now is nothing more than kabuki theater trying to rescue his falling poll numbers.

Are you completely ignorant of Cold War history and unfamiliar with the nuclear arsenal the Russians still possess? Know anything about the idea of MAD?

That's one of the dumbest statements I've seen on Free Republic in quite some time. As is this Administration's efforts towards pushing the Russians into a much bigger war over a corrupt as Hell crap hole country whose only use to the US appears to be money laundering and payoffs for the EU, Deep State, Joe Biden (with crackhead Hunter as the cutout), et al. Oh, and ongoing unnecessary cost to US citizens for more MIC contracts.

Ukraine isn't worth one Alabama grenadier.

And just to be clear, I have no use for Putin. But I understand a little history, as do the Russians, unlike our Administration. Russians get nervous when the West starts putting military assets on their borders. The West burned Moscow to the ground (Napoleon, 1812). In living memory, the West (Germany) invaded Russia and killed more than 25,000,000 Russians in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-45. From their perspective, NATO is us and the GERMANS! So yes, the Russians get nervous when the West wants to put NATO on their doorstep. And pushing them on this with MAD still operative is so dumb it is unbelievable.
