I have no doubt that, the people most joyous about the Russian invasion of Ukraine, are the democrats, especially John Kerry and the climate change lobby.
The Russian invasion gave the democrats their most desired goal of getting gas prices to a level which causes most people and businesses to use less fuel. And, democrats want the price of a barrel of oil to go even higher, perhaps to around $200 per barrel, which will cause a lot of pain for people when they want to fill up, but, that’s of no concern to democrats, who want oil eliminated from people’s lives.
Democrats hope that with gas prices at unaffordable levels will cause people to go electric with vehicles, and perhaps to hybrid vehicles.
It’s the left’s dream come true, while the nightmare for people has just begun. The Ukrainians’ loss of independence is exactly the sacrifice that democrats needed to achieve their dreams.

Gas is already over 5 in parts of California and yet look at what happened today in the people’s House. It is increadible how the dems are able to do this with rising gasoline prices. I have to hand it to them. They handed the Republicans a stunning defeat.
I must disagree. Your statement assumes that the Bidenistas want to win a war. If they deliberately lose a war the peace treaty may impose major structural changes on the government. That may be what they want. That may be a lot easier than trying to get what they want in legislative fights.

I do think the Pubbies are showing a little incompetence, here. Gaetz’ concern could easily be addressed with a couple lines in the bill.
Also, set some minimum production targets, time and quantity, that completely obliterate the argument that wind and solar can come on line faster. Point out the cooperation between China and Russia is best broken up by low gas prices. Point out that the Euro’s need fuels from the USA right away, even the super-green Germans.

It's just another sign that MANY politicians are back at the trough FEEDING on taxpayer dollars and "we the people" continue paying for HIGH PRICED OIL which helps them to fill their pockets with our tax money.
Everyone with lick of common sense KNOWS that Trump was GOOD for America. The current FJB administration is responsible for the current "Welcome to Hard Times" era we're now in.
