Something to consider:
MOSCOW, March 3. /TASS/. None of the mercenaries the West is sending to Ukraine to fight for the nationalist regime will enjoy the right of combatants under international humanitarian law, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.
“I wish to make an official statement that none of the mercenaries the West is sending to Ukraine to fight for the nationalist regime in Kiev can be considered as combatants in accordance with international humanitarian law or enjoy the status of prisoners of war,” Konashenkov stressed.
He warned that all foreign mercenaries, detained in Ukraine, would be brought to justice on criminal charges.
If the fighters join the Ukraine army then they are not mercenaries..
What president is asking for volunteers to go defend it?
Regards,
Seriously!
What a brick head -
RUSFED invades UA, indiscriminately wiped out civilians, recruits and provides logistics support to Chechen, Syrian, and Iranian axis fighters, AND then warns western mercenaries of war crimes for defending UA !
We have a real winner... total DNC material with this one ! 👍
Would their status be secure if they enlisted in the Ukraine army and were wearing a Ukraine military uniform?
No ammo companies are sending bullets to Ukraine.
"Russia-Ukraine war: Arizona ammo company to send 1 million rounds of ammo to Ukraine"
AMMO, Inc., which produces high-performance ammunition and components, will send the ammunition free of charge to Ukraine after Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the nation's president, issued a recent plea for additional aid.

OK Joe. Mind if I ask why they are sending me advertisements that they are?
Thomas Wictor has a write up somewhere. I'd defer to his version, which really goes into the necessary detail; Putin screwed up and crossed Trump, then got his but whooped, but good.
“And plenty here already work for Putin.”
And no shortage of Bidenistas either.
“Would their status be secure if they enlisted in the Ukraine army and were wearing a Ukraine military uniform?”
That may help, but I doubt it would meet the intent of the Geneva Convention, which is mainly to protect conscripts who have no choice but to fight for their country. As you get away from that group, it might get fuzzier, but I don’t know the details, other than outright foreign mercenaries have no protection.
I hear all sort of media and government flunkies talking about “off-ramps” lately. What ever makes these people think Putin is looking for an “off ramp?” Don’t any of them think for themselves?
Putin would love to have some captured Americans. He can use them as leverage to get sanctions reduced.
Then again, Ukraine will end the war with a lot of captured Russians, so prisoner exchanges should be possible.
Who knows what value Brandon will assign to captured Americans. He certainly didn’t give a damn about Americans trapped in Afghanistan.
Rick Hendricks-—NASCAR team owner said he would donate $2000 to Ukraine relief for every lap one of his cars led in yesterday’s race in Las Vegas.
He had 4 cars in the race, and I am pretty sure he will have run up a bill near $300,000. One of his cars won the race.

51 laps total.
President DeSantis.
In 2025.
It is indeed a question if Putin is looking for “off ramps.” I just asked Google “Does Putin have cancer” and there were a lot of articles speculating that this is true. Here is an example: https://meaww.com/does-putin-have-cancer-possible-reasons-behind-russian-leaders-bloated-and-unhinged-face
If this is true, is Putin the kind of person who wants to take the whole world with him in a death spiral? This to include his own healthy young men (soldiers)?
Oh, I believe it. We have a decent sized Ukrainian immigrant population in my area. I wouldn’t be shocked to see some of them, and/or first Gen kids going back.
I would not advocate it. But the number doesn’t shock me. I would bet they get a couple thousand in the end.
That’s interesting. I’ve seen a couple companies (Remington for instance) saying they are sending a million rounds.
I guess they are lying.
