I really, really wish I could trust the US government in this matter, but I cannot. It is a fact that an employee or a conspiracy of employees and agents of the US government have already launched one bioweapons attack on Americans, specifically anthrax back in 2001, and and it is a fact that officers of the US government funded gain of function research in the Wuhan bioweapons laboratory. It is not reasonable to trust the assurances of the US government. I don’t trust the Russian government any more than I trust the US government, but I simply do not trust the US government. Neither government is worthy of my trust.

DTRA.MIL is an amazing organization. One Stop Shopping for WMDs and countering WMDs CTR is just one directorate. Initially it only operated in the former Soviet Union. Its mission is to help host countries secure potential WMDs, be they Nuke, Chemical, or Bio. A failed state is a good example. after things fell apart CTR used a bunch of contractors to secure and safely destroy WMDs. At times, perhaps even in Ukraine,CTR does nothing more than put a fence around a facility.
It wasn’t always called DTRA. A few years ago it was called DSWA.
Good thing the neocons re-spun the name of the agency, because how would it sound on the “news” if they had to tell us the Ukraine bio-labs were operated under the auspices of the Defense Special Weapons Agency?
