The naive innocence of that statement! Please tell us which anti-virus software is not FBI/CIA/NSA weaponized LOL.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has likened Western sanctions on banks and oligarchs to a declaration of war. Moscow has also threatened to nationalise production plants or factories where work has been suspended.

He’s losing it. That’s dangerous.

Mr Biden said the latest steps will be "another crushing blow to the Russian economy".

He does like to deliver “crushing blows” to economies.

Too bad ours is one of them.

Idiocy on display. Economic warfare is warfare, and each escalation invites a retaliatory response. So to reflect...

Russia's economy is downright crude by our standards, with layers of redundancy and duplication that we evolved away from decades ago. By contrast, our streamlined "just in time" delivery systems are the model of efficiency, eliminating as much waste as possible. Our system is superior in every way -- until a widespread or prolonged interruption exposes its fragility. So which society can most successfully endure serious pain?

As of today, Russia operates totally outside the Western banking system, is adopting a gold standard, and has totally sealed itself off from the internet to reduce vulnerability to digital mischief. Our vulnerabilities have yet to be tested, and we continue to poke the bear...

Can I still get Russian dressing for my salad? How about a white Russian?

Don’t move to fast someone might think you are ‘russian’?

Not to worry. Brandon will screw this up in the WORST way imaginable before all is said and done. :(

How much vodka does Russia sell in America anyway?
Yet another empty, meaningless gesture from Dementia Joe.

I was not writing about any other AV program. Just Kaspersky.

Starting after the 2014 invasion of Ukraine the Russian government started pressuring Kaspersky Lab for access to customer data and for access to update servers. Ruslan Stoyanov objected to these requests and the FSB retaliated by constructing charges of treason against Stoyanov for identifying the criminal actions of Russian cybercriminal Pavel Vrublevsky.

In October 2018 Stoyanov was savagely beaten by prison guards or more likely FSB officers and then hospitalized for his critical injuries. Most likely he was beaten in the course of an interrogation.

In any case since about 2016 there is significant evidence of FSB control of the operations of Kaspersky Lab and the software is not to be trusted for anyone working in any sensitive or official capacity in the US.

It is actually funny.
Russia export of vodka to the USA has been dropping since 2011. There was almost no Russian vodka in the USA even before the war.
Basically, this is useless.
Send the airplanes!

It will be interesting to see if the US and Europe do what they’re doing with Russia to China when it goes after Tawain. Can you imagine products from China being cut off in the US! or going after the assets of their Billionairs?
