Ay de mi, what a mess.
How about some more Soy Beans Mr. Taggart?
Our “Betters” have broken the world.
To be fair, “mess” was the default. If Argentina was ever not a mess, it was just a passing fancy. And normal people don’t eat soy, anyway.
But seriously, you’re right. We’ve got adult children moving back home - “Sell your desk, bring your bed.” - and I feel like it’s more a useful clan-gathering than a nuisance. Whatever hits, we’ll weather it better as a united front.

Hungary also. If you go there, you’ll encounter fields of sunflower and wheat fields for as far as the eye can see.
Oh and another country, a much larger one, China:

Let’s go Brandon!
IF (and that’s a BIG ‘IF’) we had an actual LEADER for America, I’d say - BRING IT!
Let’s close all the borders and produce our own foodstuffs right HERE on American Soil, trade with Canada and Mexico and screw the rest of ya!
Let’s see who’s Last Nation Standing, shall we? ;)
Could it be done? Not sure. We import WAY too much in the way of machinery, parts, fuel, fertilizers, etc. It would take a TOTAL mind-reset for the gawd-awful ‘Consumer Nation’ we’ve become. :(
Funny how OUR OWN GOVERNMENT sold us down the pike DECADES ago ‘outsourcing’ so many of our own home-grown NEEDS that we could EASILY manufacture/grow/build/produce ourselves!
*SPIT*
Soy gives men “bitch tits”.
> Soy gives men “bitch tits”.
The politically correct usage is “moobs”.
If only someone would have invented a manziere...
Lol!
Why are these things happening?
Who caused them?
When did it start?
What caused this?
And the result of the answers to those questions above? Putin.
Normal people eat a lot of soy indirectly. It is the number two ingredient in animal feeds for chickens and hogs, and a good portion of finisher cattle feed lot feeds. It is also a main ingredient in dog food too look at the ingredient list of kibble. Soy like corn is in pretty much everything. It’s the cheapest protein source on the planet lb for lb.
There’s soy in Whoppers and Big Mac’s too.
Makes me happy I’m not Bengali or Ibo or Ethiopean or Chinese or Ukrainian or Irish or Indian......
Two things I won’t eat...we have Whataburger that uses 100% real beef same for twisted root where you can get grassfed bison, elk, venison, kangaroo and sometimes camel the first three are on the menu full time. The pinnacle of DFW burger goodness is Maple Motor burgers they are a custom blend of three cuts of beef with an overall 70/30 ratio meat to fat they get the diaper wrap when served. Don’t tell your cardiologist but they are stupid good. Get them pink, yellow and with.
They only cook them two ways pink or burnt, yellow = mustard, with = cheese. Order right or they will skip over the person with a line out the door and around the building from 1030 till well past 2 pm getting skipped means back of the line.
Second the motion. I conclude with ever greater clarity that the "non-essential" workers in the pandemic were all upper "caste" politicians. who should have been sent home.
Remember the five hundred+ days that Belgium went without a government, and all went well?
Good. We have our "cheapest protein" converted into beef, pork, venison, and more. All those meat converters are delicious, especially grilled over an open "global warming" device.
You’re right.
(We have cats.)
Exactly, feed cheap soy to pigs that you cut the nuts off already then eat the pigs thus no moobs on humans. Male humans should avoid soy like the plague. There is a growing business to turn food / organic wastes into high quality protein via black soldier fly larva this is perfect proteins for chickens and fish , hogs do well on them as well. The food wastes are for most purposes free for anyone willing to haul it away. It’s win win the landfills don’t get overloaded with organics that then rot into flammable methane gas while taking up valuable space and increasing the leach rates. The waste of the fly larva is high quality compost ready for use in agriculture with a side product of complete protein at 60% per gram of weight.
