I live along the main Chessie System rail line in Kentucky. I watched a four minute long 100% military train rolling eastward today. Never saw that prior to Iraqi Freedom or Desert Storm. Trucks, tankers, humvees, medical vehicles. Support and transport primarily. I’ve seen many trains that had military assets along with regular freight but nothing like this until today.
