To try to make this a substantive conversation: The Constitution makes the president, “not any federal judge,” the commander in chief of the armed forces, he wrote, noting that courts have been traditionally “reluctant to intrude upon the authority of the Executive in military and national security affairs.”
That would be appear to be accurate. What do you disagree with vs. just hurling personal attacks on the Justice and creating alternate histories?
No one said anything about speaking for the company, that's not pertinent. But it's interesting that you think a private industry company can tell me what religion to practice, domicile a soldier in my home, tell me I can't own a firearm, etc. Are they even required to pay me for my work?
Never mind what is right Brett.
Rapey boy Kavenaugh to the rescue again for the swamp. Lord only knows why they opposed him. I almost wonder if they actually wanted him and the vicious opposition was a head fake.
“Yes, all vaccinated and boosted.”
They “say” they are vaccinated and boosted.
Given justices don’t know what a woman is, do they know what vaccinated and boosted is?
They made us go to the mat for this piece of garbage.
Vaccinated? So far we know that Thomas is triple shotted. Kind of a buttpincher in his case. Haven’t seen any claim on the rest.
And that's a fact.
You and I only see the face of what Brandonton presents us - not what is REALLY going on behind the scenes.
Do you think Ruth Ginsburg would have let a little thing like the Constitution intrude on her rulings [or her lawclerks' rulings, to be more accurate]?
And do you think Ketanji Brown Jackson is going to let a little thing like the Constitution intrude on her rulings?
It’s because of the uncertainty of where all this mandate madness is going that I am still contemplating retiring Dec 2022 to the Feb 2023 timeframe. I do not trust the courts to make a just and wise decision regarding the mandates and I foresee the possibility of them being reinstated. If that happens, you’ll likely see a mass exodus from the workforce unlike anything seen prior.
He's a Bushie stooge POS, all right. Too long in Brandonton, DC.
I shudder to think what a Hillary! choice would have been like.
Is there any evidence he ever met Bush? He’s a Trumpie, not a Bushie.
I am sorry I ever thought this creep was getting treated bad.
One of the things that set off the Left about Kavanaugh [among the other 12 thousand things]:
After the 2000 U.S. presidential election, in which he worked for George W. Bush's campaign in the Florida recount, he joined the Bush administration as White House staff secretary and was a central figure in its efforts to identify and confirm judicial nominees. Bush nominated Kavanaugh to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit in 2003
Yep. Every single Justice, including Thomas.
The Usual Suspects on the Twittsewer foamed at the mouth over Kavanaugh’s Bush connections.
How do we know they really were given an experimental vaccine? No way to know.
And you forgot DeSantis, but those are the exceptions, not the rule.
I don’t remember that at all. I don’t remember any criticism at all. No one even cared that he was a disciple of Anthony Kennedy, which is far more relevant than any Bush connections. I remember when Scalia was popular among conservatives. But in the last few years, “conservatives” seem to want Anthony Kennedy clerks.
First I ever heard of that little tidbit, and I followed Michigan pretty closely.
I'll have to dig up the exact quote for you, if you're interested.
When I talk about The Usual Suspects on Twitter, I'm talking about the Pinwheels-For-Eyes Hard Left bluechecks.
Man, were they mad about his Election 2000 bonafides!!
