No one even cared that he was a disciple of Anthony Kennedy, which is far more relevant than any Bush connections.

Excellent point. Kennedy was kind of squishy, himself.

There is no credible medical reason to give our armed service members this jab and very good medical reasons not to. The fact that the government lies about these facts in order to push the jabs only makes the government guilty of crimes against humanity.

Yeah, sure...
SCOTUS will only intrude against non-military citizens...

Yes Seals will perform just fine with heart problems and other side effects from the jab.

“But it’s interesting that you think a private industry company can tell me what religion to practice, domicile a soldier in my home, tell me I can’t own a firearm, etc. Are they even required to pay me for my work?”

Do you have any idea what the 1st amendment is,which is what you originally referenced?

I am not aware that a private company has ever ventured to tell an employee what religion to practice which would be absurd. The rest of your list is bizarre.

One of the subjects of this thread is the military forcing the covid vaccine.

The military has always enforced vaccines. It is just that this particular enforcement is demented and demonic.

Don’t blame McConnell for Trump’s lousy judges

There was plenty of opportunities and choices available for Trump to pick someone like Thomas but Trump screwed up.

All this order means is that the Navy can reassign these sailors to other position until the litigation goes forward. The sailors are not being harmed as long as they remain on active duty.

By the time the case goes through litigation and appeals, some of them might be able to retire.

IOW, this order has little, if any affecton the litigation. Kavanaugh kept the case alive. It’s not like he shut down the claims.

Commander in Chief is not the same as sovereign ruler.

Member of the military is not a slave or subject to the crown.

Slavery was abolished.

Why does even a “conservative” justice not get such a simple thing?

I believe Amul Thapar would have been a better choice. He has been excellent as a Sixth Circuit judge. McConnell supported him because he was from Kentucky.

On the positive side, the ruling seems to protect a future Republican administration in 86ing the military transgender policy.

He might.

But Deep State is calling the shots.

SCOTUS is just its rubber stamp.

A significant portion of Kavanaugh’s past work was deliberately not examined before his placement on the Supreme Court. Virtually nobody in the news media wants to discuss this topic. The four articles at the link below were an attempt to prompt such an examination. It is best to read them in chronological order, so begin with the fourth article and go up the list: https://www.allanfavish.com/index.php/vincent-foster.
