Everybody’s looking at this bass-ackwards, ... it’s Chris Rock who’s got the problem now. He let another black man openly disrespect him and made no effort to stand up for himself. He might as well spend the rest of his days with a “Kick Me” sign taped to his back.

And weren’t actually advocating it.
I do NOT see Will Smith maturing past “The Prince Of Bel Air” stage.
I see a grown human that is stuck at about 14 years of age.
It is an open secret that Will’s catting around is bisexual. His eventual biography will be interesting to see if that began before his marriage, or following it (what does a married emasculated male feel).
Will is messed up, but he hasn’t shot and killed anyone yet.

Maybe or maybe not. Chris handled it well. He didn’t run away or cry. He was a little shaken, but he showed that he can take a hit better than crybaby Will Smith can take a joke.
Some articles say Chris’s face was bruised, he was shocked about what happened, and he left the building.
Meanwhile, the “big stars” were hugging and consoling Smith and then cheering for him when he won the Oscar. No one told him to leave the building. No punishment for Will Smith. Only rewards.
A marriage so open, they’ll both fall out of it.
