I think China will buy Russian oil and natural gas. But then in 2025, Russia’s SOLE customer will be China and China will tell them “give us a discount or we buy more from other sources”

#7. They will also buy Russian fertilizer to grow food, while our inflation skyrockets, supply shock and food production drops. Because Covid, climate change, and Ukraine, are worth making Americans go through a artificially created, government induced second Dust Bowl, that the rest of the word is trying to avoid.

Sorry to tell you General Speedy but the “sanctions” are having little to no effect on the Russian economy. The funds coming in from Russian oil and gas exports have only increased during this “conflict”. Even as we and other countries begin to phase out buying Russian oil and gas, others gladly buy it at a bit of a discount compared to what the Saudis and others are now able to charge. It is just a sideways shuffle. Countries with 80% of the world's population are having nothing to do with this nonsense. The Russians are receiving far more money for their energy products than they were a month ago. Putin is laughing all the way to the bank.

One of my very best friends worked in military intelligence before he became a customs broker and then started his own brokerage. He said that the sanctions being imposed are mainly causing the US dollar to lose its place as the currency that oil is exchanged with and that is going to cause our country huge problems down the road and will help the Russians, the Chinese, the Indians and others. Any minor inconvenience caused by shifting where Russian products are going are basically having no effect.

Just like the breathless reporting on Ukrainian military successes... what we are hearing about the success of sanctions destroying the Russian economy is basically a joke... on us. Most of the world will not even take a phone call from the senile old codger who is currently the resident in chief. We are becoming a laughing stock, and the propaganda Western media is trying to pass off as fact has destroyed their credibility as well. But at least it allows you to continue living in your armchair general super fantasy... must feel good! So glad for you.

Oil is a global commodity. Russia will find other buyers, e.g, China and India.

Actually there are more countries in the world than the US, Russia, and China, so I wouldn’t be so sure that Russia won’t have any markets for their oil at least, and pretty much the same for LNG, at least by then.

Agreed.

For instance: Russian oil exports to India have quadrupled.

So you think that the only country buying Russian energy oil and gas is China? Hate to tell you but India and most other countries in the world are also gladly still buying from Russia. Our sanctions are a joke which are hurting our economy far more than the Russians. Most of the people who might be able to cause some pain for the Russians won't even take a phone call from Biden

“Because Covid, climate change, and Ukraine, are worth making Americans go through a artificially created, government induced second Dust Bowl, that the rest of the word is trying to avoid.”

And that’s the thing, even in virtually all other countries, the elected governments at least try to look out for the interests of their people, whereas...

...yesterday, Biden canceled new petroleum leases in the Gulf of Mexico for all of 2022 and I think 2023.

You are correct. Saudi Arabia May Raise Its Oil Prices For Asia To Record Premiums

Saudi seems to be raising premiums, on the same day that it paused operations in Yemen.

On this subject: India is probably going to be a stable ally for Russia for the forseeable future.

Apart from the recent gift of cheap fuel, India wants to be plausibly able to shoot down tactical nuclear weapons launched by its crazy neighbor. That tech is in Russia’s gift.

What date is that from?
Its totally changed now.
Most Russian oil exports are going to go to the 60% of the world’s population that live in Asia in coming months.

The question is how long will Putin continue the sacrifice of his troops? Sooner or later history will repeat itself and another Russian revolution will occur wit the military in the lead. Saw today, Putin is pulling his troops out of east of. The urals and sending them into the fight. This opens the door for China to take the urals and Siberia.
