There were damn loads of foreign observers in Donbass over the last couple of years, somehow they didn’t come across any “Ukrainian atrocities”.

He got +73% of votes. Up to 90% in Russian speaking areas. Even the Kremlin has never denied he won free elections.
There is certainly documented evidence of atrocities over the last couple of years. Including foreign journalists and as I said before they are documented in the UN reports.
