I just don’t see it happening...
I’m not on the ground in GA, but I really don’t see Purdue taking out Kemp.
Kemp has had a solid lead the entire cycle.. Purdue doesn’t seem to have found any message or direction that has moved his numbers and the primary is just over 6 weeks away.
Now I know 6 weeks is a long time, but this guy just isn’t exciting to anyone, if he were, his numbers and support would be measurable, and nothing I have seen suggest it is.
GA either doesn’t care about Kemp’s ineptitude and its affect on the 2020 election... or Purdue is just too tainted that those who do care won’t vote for him.. or a little of both.
I don’t know, and yes, 6 weeks is a long time, something could happen that completely changes the race in the next 6 weeks, but so far, it doesn’t seem like Kemp is in any real threat of being primaried.
I think if they had a truely strong America First/MAGA candidate running, Kemp might be toast... but just not seeing Purdue playing that role.
I’m not sure how much money Perdue has. He was burning money in the Jax, FL media market during his Senate runs. I don’t think I’ve heard one radio commercial here for this race.
See your line of thinking sadly is how this country became a communist controlled captured Operation. Voting for the lesser of two weasels is just not smart. That way the Republican party never has to run a decent candidate. David Perdue was a chitty squish senator and he’ll be the same type of Governor.
Georgia has a Republican/RINO statehouse. If Stacy Abrams becomes governor there’s not much she can do except make a lot of noise and stink up the governor’s mansion.
Everyone needs to vote for Kandiss Taylor and let the chips fall where they may.
Everyone running on the Republican ticket for senator is also crappy. The choices are basically a former football player with multiple personality disorder who hasn’t lived in GA for decades and a former Navy SEAL who appears to be a deepstate tool.
Like I said I’m not on the ground in GA, but it certainly doesn’t seem like Purdue is really exciting anyone...
I think Kemp is absolutely vulnerable, but I don’t think Purdue can play the role of ANTI-SWAMP, American First, MAGA candidate in a believable way.
We will see.. but it sure hasn’t seemed in any way that Kemp is facing a serious threat here the entire cycle.
WOW !! You have very strong feelings about this which you are certainly entitled to as well as I am entitled to mine. I’m not trying to convince you differently just stating that I’ll vote for anyone with an “R” by their name over Abrams. I understand how you feel and we are not that much different.
Good luck and I wish you well.
Yes I have strong feelings about this because as I stated previously voting for a crappy candidate doesn’t help the situation. We have had Democrat governors before. They accomplished very little and then we got rid of them. Kandiss Taylor is a true conservative. Maybe vote for her.
This just in Big D...
