The time to arm them was a year ago.

Clark is the poster child for why our founding fathers made the president commander-in-chief. Just not this president. The founding fathers never met Brandon. They never even imagined him.

“I'm not going to start Third World War for you,” Jackson told Clark Nato supreme commander General Wesley Clark is not being allowed to fade away quietly. Days after the Clinton administration relieved him of his command two months early, Newsweek is reporting that the victor of Kosovo was blocked from sending paratroopers to Pristina airport to pre-empt an unexpected Russian advance.

Weasely:
Why? Because there is a window of opportunity now — for a week or two perhaps — in which Ukraine can counterattack in the north, south and east to expel Russian forces. This will require mobile armored forces and air power. And if this window is lost, the future is darker and more uncertain. Your UkroNazis in the Donbass are gettin' rubbed out, Weasely.
Deal with it.

Isn't this the crackpot who tried to start WWIII in the Balkans during the Clinton 'wag the dog' war?
I guess he's giving it another go now.

Arm Kiev for what? The Russian's left Kiev because there are no more targets there. The Ukrainians need accountants with integrity to find out where all their aid money went over the years. They need moving trucks and English teachers to help the younger generation get out. They need contractors to rebuild what the older Ukrainians insist on holding onto.
They also need bio-lab inspectors, apparently a lot of them.

You know, I think they imagined him. I think they met his type plenty of times. And out on a rail tarred and feathered they went.

He is right. Russians are in retreat and regrouping.
Time to hit them hard!
Ukraine needs offensive weapons like airplanes, tanks and heavy equipment.
So far, only Czech Republic is providing these! But they are asking others to chip in.
Since the explosion in Vrbetice, in CR, blamed on Russian Salisbury agents, The Czech-Russian relations are on the worst level ever.
So the Czechs have nothing to loose and may as well take the leadership in supplying Ukraine with offensive weapons.
