yeah, it’s a billionaire’s play. It was a good move for him, for investors, and for the public. He’s a win-win player. He’s effectively testing a theory that woke management is lowering the value of these enterprises and creating a discount that can be reversed. Even the Wokies can benefit (if they want, heheh).
He should be broken...on the wheel.
Why is it that the brave new world always seems to be filled with mean spirited, craven cowards?.
My guess is that’s why he turned down the board position. The Twitteratis should be breaking a sweat - he could & may soon own them lock stock & barrel.
These are not serious, sober minded people. I think we need to start standing up to them, just about everywhere they are.

Soy boy Jay was already cracked before he was broken.
I imagine Mr. Holler feels “broken” over this non event (Musk turned board membership down) because it’s likely he did not have a father to put a boot in his ass growing up. Some of us did. One thing my dad taught me is that he would not tolerate whining. His favorite retort was “deal with it”.
I noticed the ‘emotional fraility’ of this generation and even the one prior was increasing - evn within my own family members. When I was raised we were taught how to let things “slide off our shoulders” or “toughen up” to take verbal punches. Not today...my gosh it’s truly a failure of parents and the school system.
Elon Musk is smart, and/or lucky. When that democrat Pocahontas complained that he wasn't paying a fair share of taxes (a lie), Musk sold Tesla shares and paid many billions of dollars in capital gains taxes (more than any U.S. person in history). However, he exercised purchase of cheap stock options and ended up richer with more shares than before the sale of stock. Smart man indeed.

Judgement because Elon was white? Or because he was rich? Or because (aka AOC) you wanted to date him and knew he was out of your league (and gender)?
Proactive blocking is really, really vile. The only thing I proactively block is porn or Democrat candidate brochures in my mailbox.
