...it’s certainly possible that getting rid of Putin could result in someone who is either crazier than Putin, or as nuts but much more competent.

Exactly. At least we know something about Putin, and have some experience dealing with him - any replacement could potentially be a complete unknown, a Chinese mole, or who knows what...

Even with careful maintenance which is very costly, nuclear warheads have a shelf life of around 30 years. Which means all the nuclear warheads build by the USSR would be no longer operable at this point even if Russia properly maintained them, which is very dubious at this point.

And how many new warheads have they build since.

There is a very good chance and most of their nuclear arsenal are non-functional and it’s likely they themselves don’t even know which ones are actually working.

The quotes are from Dmitry Medvedev, not Putin. But Medvedev is Putin’s close collaborator, so I would assume he speaks for him also.

Unfortunately, the Daily Mail isn’t making these quotes up, Medvedev really did say them.

No thanks!

Do not want!

Let’s just accept everything works and there’s no need to test, let alone use.

Not sure if they work? Utter nonsense.

You should catch DJT’s interview on Hannity - posted on FR at least in part. He’s the one who made the claim that no one knew if they worked - and this was remedied during his term. So go have a chat with DJT to verify it one way or another for yourself.

Forget NATO. If the Ukraine situation has proved anything, it’s that NATO is chicken sh!t under the Brandon mis-admenstruation.

Start your own Organization of Baltic, Balkan and Eastern European States (OBBEES? Maybe it acronyms better in Polish or Latvian?). Keep it low key, and quietly build up military and intelligence capabilities.

so, you’re saying the daily mail simply fabricated the following”

“’There can be no more talk of any nuclear-free status for the Baltic - the balance must be restored,’ said Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council.

‘Naturally, we will have to reinforce these borders. Until today, Russia has not taken such measures and was not going to. If our hand is forced well... take note it wasn’t us who proposed this.’

The former president added Russia would ‘seriously reinforce its group of ground forces and air defences and deploy significant naval forces in the Gulf of Finland.’”

I think he feels threatened being surrounded by anti Russian and perhaps nuclear nations. So, he’s sending his military to protect his borders. We’d feel the same way.

Hopefully Zelensky too, and then release all the info from that corrupt hellhole of a country. I feel bad for honest Ukrainians, being used by a very corrupt echelon.
