It’s no game. And the only sadism is coming from Satan.

You obviously have no belief in the spiritual realm (vs. the mortal one). If you did you would see things as they are, instead of as a mortal, flawed being....and ergo, as you want things to be.

Here’s a question for you. If you do not trust God or God’s word, or that of His son, Jesus, or that of the many prophets of God over the centuries....

whose word do you trust? There is only one other option (hint).

So mant do not like that God has chosen to have that test. Satan started that trend and has too many agreeing with him by rejecting the Universe as it is containing good and evil with humankind in the choosing category. Rather than choose God they mock His Universe and His sovereignty. Does it ultimately come down to what turned satan away from Good ... the seducing power of pride?

That’s not a test - that’s a decision.

“It’s no game. And the only sadism is coming from Satan.”

Who created Satan?

“If you do not trust God or God’s word, or that of His son, Jesus, or that of the many prophets of God over the centuries....”

Which God and whose god? The Christian God, Muslim God, the Buddhist God, the hindu gods?

“whose word do you trust? There is only one other option (hint).”

The things I trust most are my God given senses and the God given ability for rational thinking. The latter helps me discern contradictions in what people say and thus question them or reject them.

So when someone tells that God’s nature is all powerful, all seeing, all knowing and all loving, and that everything that happens he controls and then I read about horrible atrocities such as what happened to this girl (and many similar ones each day), I tend to dismiss the claim that God is all loving, powerful, etc.

If you had the power that you claim God has would you have let that girl be murdered?

Do you at all see the inconsistencies and contradictions in your position?

Just like.... choosing to defy God was a decision that Eve and Adam made. Just like choosing to defy God was a decision that Satan made. And just like all sinners decide to sin against God's will.

The test is... do you give into to that temptation to defy God, whether out of pride or out of weakness or whatever...

or do you choose to accept Jesus Christ as your savior and obey God's commandments and do His will.

Yeah, it's a choice/decision. Everyone has that choice to make. So...do you choose to be the wheat...

or the chaff?

Matthew 3:12 "12 His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

In Paul's letter to the Romans we read: Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.

In your words: If you had the power that you claim God has would you have let that girl be murdered? With this badgering question you exhibit the carnal mind. You are conflating two very different things. Just because God has the power to do does not require He do. Would I have let that evil prick saughter a young girl? Of course not, but I am not God, I do not have the power to stop or prevent the salughter, and I have not the mind of God to know all the circumstances. You have presumed that IF God has the power to do then He is obligated by your reasoning to do. You flawed reasoning is the carnal mind at work. The God will never fit into the carnal mind box you demand He confine Himself to. You don't like that kind of God so you berate Him for not doing as you would do. But would you really do what you are demanding of God?

Are there circumstances under which you would not intervene? If there are ANY, even one set of circumstances, then you have found the flaw in your carnal reasoning.
