On Guadalcanal. They were ensconced on Tulagi and in the northern Solomons. We had to root em out of Bougainville and New Georgia.

That was the Japanese not the Chinese. The U. S. has bases all over the world. China will follow suit. We cannot control which countries allow Chinese to maintain bases.
