Nice article, but it forgot one thing: No one involved in covid followed the law and they will continue to not follow the law.
“It’s time to move the CDC back to an honest public health agency devoted to real science and to remove it as a public relations arm of the White House.”
If Wishes were Horses...
Never gonna happen. Once a ‘government program’ gets started, it expands and expands and expands, taking on a life of its own.
Far too many people obeyed without question and would no doubt do it again.
The Forever-COVIDians will NEVER accept it, and will never let this whole fraud go. They will continue to try to create an impression of impending doom, continue spreading fear, panic, and lies, and will continue attacking anyone who opposes them or presents data that disproves their "COVID" delusions. Included among the Forever-COVIDians are most of the media, most of the government, the pharmaceutical industry, all leftists, and plenty of non-leftists (with many here on FR among them).
Sadly you are correct. On the Metro North this morning commuting to NYC, most riders chose to continue wearing the maskies like the obedient little sheep that they are.
Truthful point.
So the next question is are airports and other public facilities allowed to force you to wear a mask?
I live in a Repub county in a Repub state where masks were never enforced, and for months I was the only one without. Then it was two or three. Very depressing. Now that life is pretty much normal I still see people wearing them. Good grief, if they believe in the virus they’ve had their shots… so why are they still masked?
The CDC is the public relations arm of the establishment, not the White House.
We no longer are a republic.
As long as that’s the case, Deep State can do whatever the hell it thinks it can get away with.
We’re no longer...
CoupFlu was NEVER about public health.
The masks were always a joke. Many people used makeshift cloth masks that have no scientific evidence of being effective against anything save perhaps a sneeze. Masks were routinely being improperly worn, ill fitted and with cloth masks questionably being washed after every use. Mask mandates often bordered on the ridiculous, for example requiring patrons to be masked to enter a restaurant, but to sit at the table eating without masks with everyone breathing the same air. Mask hysteria whipped up by the media and critical Karens produced obviously idiotic mask wearing such as wearing masks outdoors or while driving alone in a car. Most people have now recognized that wearing masks was just a enforced act of fealty to government tyranny and afforded them no real protection. However, there will be as Obama once said “bitter clingers” who will hold onto their masks and COVID vaccinations no matter what.
This judge’s ruling was a thing of beauty from a legal perspective.
In short, You can’t use a statute that explains how to clean your toilet to enforce all people to wear a mask. The section of the statute that deals with people. (title 42) requires you to control who comes into the country via quarantine and denial of entry if infected. They couldn’t use that section because they are lifting all restrictions for illegal immigrants entering the country without quarantine and definitely no denial of entry.
“Far too many people obeyed without question and would no doubt do it again.”
That, right there, is the second point: Those tyrants won’t follow the law but there are lots of people who will follow the tyrants.
“So the next question is are airports and other public facilities allowed to force you to wear a mask?”
I think we’re going to find out their authority is limited. We have rights, too.
‘m uncomfortable with statements like this. We keep making the point that removing mandates does not take away a person’s right to wear a mask if they want to - and then we call them ‘sheep’?
It seems to me that if someone continues wearing the mask ‘without question’ even in the absence of the requirement, it’s because on some level they want to wear it. It’s not my business to question their motives or inner attitudes about it - it’s a personal health decision (which we have also frequently reiterated).
You can wear a mask if you want. It’s your right. I can question your thought processes. It’s my right.
