Just read the stories of those Darwin award winners that die from falling off the cliffs at Yosemite. They're usually people that don't heed the warning signs, and leave the trails for that "perfect selfie". The current is swift, and the rocks are slippery.
The entire episode warrants a complete investigation.
“Fox and Friends” had a segment on this story this morning. They showed that ABC devoted 20 seconds to the story and the other networks ignored it completely.

What does black have to do with this. I’ve not seen any
article use the term black in the published articles.
Mexicans, especially gang/cartel member types don’t particularly care for blacks. Pretty well known.
This young man is a bonafide hero…without a doubt. God Bless him and may the glory of God abide him well in the after life.
Too young and possibly dead due to the naivete of being 22. Obviously a very caring young man though and likely with God now.
That headline gets an "F" in Journalism 101. I'm quite sure his mother always knews who he was so he was never "unidentified." His identity just hadn't been released.
