I definitely disagree. Ukraine isn’t getting anything back, Crimea or otherwise.

The Russians willingly pulled out of the Kiev to reposition around the Donbass and the south. They tried a quick strike to see if they could get something done fast. It didn’t work, they moved on.

Once the Russians get their hooks into the south and the east, it’s over. Just like Crimea 2014.

The Ukrainian military is weak. Apparently many mercenaries involved and they’re already supposedly tapping older reserves.

You can give those soldiers any weapons you want, they’re not going to get the job done. Especially the reserves.

I guess there’s a possibility of a Ukraine reclamation years down the line, like a Afghanistan/USSR conclusion. But I really doubt it.

Unlike Afghanistan, plenty of people in the areas Russia is looking to add (in my view) in Ukraine are ethnically Russian or Russian speaking. There’s an affinity there, built in.

Thus, Biden and the Dems (and whoever else, like Neocons) are left with “we helped sink a ship.”

Russia isn’t losing the war. They’re winning. They are decimating the Ukraine military, in a systemic way.

For Ukraine to try to hang in the fight, they need as much weaponry and as many mercenaries/foreign troops they can get.

We’ll see where it ends up. I doubt anything dramatic will happen anytime soon. But if it does, it will be the Russians taking more territory rather than ceding it.

American officials have expressed concerns that reporting about U.S. intelligence sharing with Ukraine could anger Putin and provoke an unpredictable response.

Probably shouldn't be doing things you're concerned about people finding out about.

It wasn’t taking bait. It was no options left but roll. If he did nothing Kiev was going to launch it’s attack on the separatist areas. And Ukraine was going to brought into NATO. Zelinsky also said about a year ago they wanted nukes.

So if Russia didn’t roll, there would be a NATO army, hosted by a nazi nation on their border forever.

It was now or never. A bad option and a really bad option.

I’m genuinely surprised Russia is putting up with this.

There a lot of things they could do to take the will out of US/NATO.

So at this point, any P-8 flying over the Black Sea became a combatant and a legitimate target for S-400s in Crimea.

We have done this, waged a “playing card” targeted death campaign on their generals, and shot down a troop transport.

I just have a feeling you can only do this so long before something truly bad happens. DC is pretty much waging war on Russia.

Oh...but wait until “Victory Day.” This is a case of not what they accomplished in 1945, but what have they done for the world lately?
————-
What has the US done for the world lately? Bombed Yugoslavia ( Bosnia) into ruins, started Gulf War 1, Gulf war 2, ( 1991- 2021), bombed Libya, Syria, Somalia, etc…

Not because of us.

We’ve been way out of line... Basically causing the war (NATO membership offer), escalating it, breaking numerous agreements. No one likes to talk about the ballistic missile treaty we withdrew from, the Minsk Memorandum of 2014, or the Budapest Accord, that would paint us as “liars.”.

No one wants to talk about how we are pressuring the Solomon Islands not to accept a Chinese offer for them to build a base there, and that’s 6,114 miles from our border and happening right now! No one wants to remember why we invaded Grenada (we didn’t want the Soviets in our back yard). There is no mention about the Cuban missile crisis where we took the world to the brink of nuclear war because the Soviets dared put missiles in Cuba where you have a 90 mile wide moat between them and us. No one mentions the Monroe Doctrine anywhere in the news... But we expect the Russians to accept a NATO country on their border!

At this point, we can only hope that the Russians really are no longer the power they once were and that our influence is so great that we can contain whatever shit they want to fling our way. We just performed a bad prison rape scene in them, with piss and shit everywhere. We are directly responsible for the lives of many Russians and they will want to return that favor.

Finding some asshole somewhere that wants to kill US forces or our presence in their country isn’t particularly hard: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Private_militias_in_Iraq (pick one- then arm, train and point where we’re at).

I figure the Russians are a bit preoccupied right now, but when they can, they will play the same game we played back on us. Let’s hope they are at a point where their influence and capabilities are so far below/behind ours (political, economic influence, military capabilities) that we can contain this. At this point the damage is done.

Do you think Vietnam built RPG-7s in the 60s?

Do you think Vietnam built MIG21 in the 60s?

How about a radar guided SA-2 missile?

Vietnam couldn’t build the tire for that jet. They were being armed and trained by the Russians that also had advisors on the ground. I just hope we don’t return to the era of decades long proxy wars across the planet.

It’s one thing for Russia to know that we are behind it. It’s another for the US to come out and say so.

The fact that these nimrods are taking credit openly for killing generals and sinking ships is more proof, which we didn’t need, that there are morons running the White House.

The location of the Moskva was hardly a secret.

I said at the time you cannot hide a ship that size from people who have access to near real time satellite surveillance.

“Why aren’t they satisfied with their proxy war? Do they want a direct war?“

I believe they do want a direct war. America, or more properly the people of America, are probably the biggest road block to a one world government, a new world order.

Said simply, you cannot have a new world order without destroying the top dogs of the present.
