What Vlad Putin has done should not be allowed to stand, no matter what kind of person Zelensky may be.

Wanting Zelensky and the Ukrainians to kick Putin and the Russian military out of their country does not equate to supporting a Hitler- or Stalin-like leader. Your comparison or attempted comparison has no merit.
OK, so what hope do you have in this outcome? Do you really think that all of the EU and NATO support will seriously kick Putin out of the Donbass (where the vast majority of people are tired of the Ukrainian regime)? What is your backup plan should this fail?
I want the Russians to cease hostilities, go home and stay there. If Putin is so concerned about Russians in the Sudetenland, I mean, Donbas, he should offer them incentives to emigrate to Russia, and the Ukrainian government should not impede their departure in any way.
This is their homeland. Already thousands have opted to go to Russia to live. but most of them still live there and want to stay there. Moreover, almost all of the Crimean peninsula want to stay where they’re at, as Russian citizens. Why do you want to deny them their human rights?
In that referendum, staying part of Ukraine was not one of the options.

They are not mutually exclusive issues. We should be blocking our own border AND helping Ukraine defend theirs.
Biden isn't going to do anything about our border, even if we adopt a live and let die attitude towards Ukrainians. Going full Neville Chamberlain to appease Russia isn't going to help our border one bit.

You’ve got it right Danny. People forget that Zelensky was a very successful businessman who formed a very successful media company. That company became the opposition political party to the Poroshenko/Biden party and skunked them with over 70% of the electoral vote in 2019. Following the win, Trump called Zelensky to congratulate him and was impeached by Congress. Zelensky defended Trump agreeing it was a “perfect” call.
He has more money than you can imagine he might have. He didn’t get that money from dancing videos.
People have posted a few times here what his total worth is, but it gets met with hissy fits and posts about Putin’s money which isn’t new to anyone. I think the hate and brainwashing is so strong that many are in denial when it comes to the money.
All is fair I guess, only Putin isn’t shaking down the US taxpayers. Linda Graham says we are doin’ it all for Europe. If that is the case, perhaps the EU can pony up this 600B tab and help out other than sending some beat up old WWII war equipment that the US is replacing with new weaponry.
