If we keep voting for the Romney types because we’re always told our preferred candidate has no chance then the best we can hope for is a slower train to the same destination than if we had lost the seat. Demo voters look past many faults in the backgrounds of their candidates. I don’t care if Barnette is a liar, I reckon that she would be the type of disruptive force that we need in the Senate. We need scrappers, not some polished old turd with an impeccable resume and insider credentials.
From all I have heard so far, that is the consensus forming in me.
I am disenchanted with veterans who don’t live up to my expectations, which can be summarized by MAGA which encompasses everything from 1st-2nd Amendment rights all through national security and the Economy. In my traditional experience the majority of veterans could fall into that category (though not all, that is for sure)
Now, I see veterans running as Leftists (more than I ever recall as a proportion) so that isn’t an automatic for me anymore.
That is the only thing I hold against her is the fact that supported Ted Cruz than that she’s awesome

There’s even a tone in these attacks, like somebody is directing them and they are not original. I believe these attackers are getting calls from deep state GOP promising favors if they go on the attack.

If Oz wins, he should be supported in the general. Trump’s endorsement is good enough for me, there must be a reason why.

I enjoy Kathy Barnett's freshness and enthusiasm, but worry that she would get blindsided in the general election.
And I reckon that betrayal is more likely with Oz. There’s hardly any chance of pulling potential Fetterman voters over to any repub candidate, especially one endorsed by Trump, so why not pick the most disruptive candidate on the ballot. Republicans sat by while the election was stolen and our rights were eroded, disruption is needed. Barnette, while dishonest, is certainly cleaner than our current POTUS, so that’s obviously not a disqualification.

Hannity kept trashing her during his show last night for comments about “Gays” and “Muslims”. So many supposedly on the right are now practically liberals on many things. Trump hosted the Log Cabin Republicans. I don’t go along with the gay agenda. If that increasingly reads me out of the Republican Party, fine. I’ll vote third Party if they keep pushing the LGBTQI*?Z3F alphabet nonsense.
