Russian propaganda photos show piles of captured American Javelin and TOW missiles. Apparently, we are unintentionally supplying both sides.
I suspect we are supplying the gasoline for transport of any war material, and paying the salaries of the Ukrainian government, and providing training for these weapons.
If there is a Russian advance and the Ukes defenses start to falter, I think we will not be consulted before sending in American/NATO troops - first as support, and then as front line fighters.

Obviously, Ukraine already lost this war. It's over for them. Any further fighting is really the USA vs. Russia over who gets to rebuild the world's newest welfare state. The deep state wants that mega-graft opportunity.
One provision the Republicants could add to the bill to make the $40 billion worth it is to require all money be spent on USA-built automated weapons systems requiring NO training, human transporter, or onsite operator. In other words, push robotics fast, like the technology explosion that came out of WWII. Once we have robots, the world has no use for China, or other communist impoverished factory workers.

Correct, any serious offensive against Russian positions in the east and south of Ukraine will be met by massive numbers of Russian troops, including the mobilization of reserves. Russia has a population to draw from that is over 3 times that of Ukraine. Without mercenaries, Ukraine cannot win.
I’m just glad the bill will pass without any oversight. Otherwise lots of people may not get their cut of it.

You cannot talk about Ukraine in a vacuum. There are other things in the world that should precede sending billions to Ukraine, such as ensuring we have adequate domestic energy production, ensuring our borders are secure (a fence and sophisticated surveillance), ensuring supply chains are efficient, stop irresponsibly printing money for a welfare grab-bag. for starters.
