It's also why the Trump administration's efforts to cut off federal funds to sanctuary cities or sanctuary States was struck down.
Depriving schools of all federal lunch buddies simply because they don't have transgender bathrooms balls in the same category, and likely will be struck down as well.
The purpose of that doctrine is that the federal government should not be able to use as a punishment withholding of funds for the purpose of requiring states to do something the law itself does not require.
School lunch program is an absolute joke. It started as another handout to help hungry children so they could concentrate in school and not be malnourished. We saw what a joke it has become during pandemic. Now any child- financial need aside (lazy parents don’t want to make lunch) can get it, and locally where I live ‘any child’ ( any parent) lined up to take it - and I quote from local parents “so that they don’t lose the funding” (if not enough children need it- next year school gets less money) for the lunches and whatever other BS is tied to it- in other words- keep artificially creating the demand. Personally, I think it needs to be proven documented financial need- I am sick of paying for crap- including school lunches- when mommy and daddy have weaves, tattoos and nails done, better cell phone than me, but won’t feed their own dang children because someone else will. Now I know that obviously there are poor children and hungry children- but how do address true responsible need from just sticking your lazy hand out for something that is ‘free’ ?? ( which if course it is not ’free’)
So not only do Democrats want kids to be shot in school, they want them to be starving when they’re shot.
