So why do these DEMOCRATS refuse to institute basic 101 security measures 22 years after Columbine? Why is it almost every public place today has security all except public schools?
I went to my local DMV a few months ago and it had only ONE entrance with a guard who made me step through a metal detector. Just for the FREAKIN’ DMV!!!!! What’s someone going to do, steal a drivers license?
You know what this smells like to me? Security measures are not put in place because democrats do not WANT security measures. Why? Because it would prevent mass shootings which THEY WANT because then they can exploit them for political points.
Call me crazy, but what is the first thing democrats did the day this shooting happened? They exploited it.

We should treat Democrats like deadly diseases.
It means that the medical profession wants to control the ownership, use and misuse of firearms. It means that “medical professionals” will use subjective judgment as to who should and should not be allowed firearms and what should be done to those people.
If the principal causes of firearm violence were mental health related, this would make a degree of sense, IF SEVERELY LIMITED. Let me be explicit, suicide is often considered a mental health issue. Many mass murderers are considered to be medically incompetent to stand trial, some murders are committed by people who are addicts or mentally ill.
If medical professionals limited their subjective judgment to just those that are likely to be considering criminal behavior, then that might not be too bad. We have red flag laws, we have involuntary commitment laws.
However, when gun control advocates talk about treating gun violence as a public health problem they are talking about restricting access to traditional firearms or requiring mental health evaluations, etc. for people who are law abiding and for whom there is little expectation they would use a firearm for an illegal purpose.
Sounds fine to me as long as people understand guns have the volition of cabbages and focus would be on combating or controlling human behavior. Possibly even a Democrat voting record would be considered a disqualifier?
