I find it rather humorous that Germany, who unsuccessfully invaded Russia during WWII, in order to gain control of their oil fields, have been dependent on Russian oil for decades.

That’s actually true. Germany is that font of all bad things and I’m not sure why. They invented the word “homosexuality” and it’s called the German vice. They invented psycho analysis, Marxism, Nazism and Prussian Bureaucracy.
They make wonderful sausages, the schnitzel is amazing, the clocks and machinery, are all wonderful. The autobahn is a marvel that I love. German wines are absolute perfection.
But in matters of government and people, they should sit in the corner and never speak.
