Sure, once the injury has healed enough to do so safely. Going back to do a job involving physical labor when you haven’t healed yet and just soldiering through it with pain pills is not the same thing, yet that is what many people do (or did before doctors stopped handing them out like candy).
I thought of that too. I can walk out same day with a gun in SC, but only because I have a Concealed Carry Permit. It requires a day-long class and an extensive background check that persists.
