I’ve already started burning dung for cooking in solidarity. ;)

Have fun. I’ll stick to wood.

Dry corn cobs are supposed to be a good firewood substitute. Yet another reason to grow your own food.

I actually tested a few different crop wastes to see if any would work as a fuel source. Bean pods just smolder. Straw and chaff burn too fast, even when compressed. But the disk from sunflower heads burns like a charcoal briquette.

Is there anything you don’t know, Girlfriend? ;)

We grew popcorn one season and I ‘Tom Sawyer-ed’ Beau into shucking and cleaning it all for me.

Later that day, I found a stack of corn cobs next to the toilet, LOL! Smart-@ss!

Plenty of things I don’t know yet, but I keep trying to close that gap :)

It’s probably going into the ocean. Good thing the ice caps are melting to keep the seas from getting completely filled with silt.
