My preferred store brand of coffee recently shrank from a 34-oz can to 24-oz. At the same time, the prices went up about 30-cents.

The 34-oz can (last purchased about 3 months go) cost roughly 23-cents per ounce. The 24-oz can (purchased about 3 weeks ago) cost roughly 33-cents per ounch [interesting typo seems somehow apropos].

Gas jumped about 50-cents in a week.

Biden fears he may be labeled the new Carter, so he does nothing to help alleviate inflation woes. Carter had a Misery Index of nearly 22% late in his 4th year. Biden is nearing 12% in just 16 months.

A Giant grocery chain location in Northeast Washington, D.C. — roughly one mile from the United States Capitol — was among the latest to be hit by apparently brazen thieves who quickly yet calmly empty shelves into carts and plastic bags before apparently making their way through the door without paying.
