What if they do? It seems that these mass killers look for soft zones… no gun zones…..perhaps just knowing there are guns in the facility, killers will not attack. The data points to this. In my opinion a teacher who volunteers to carry a gun has made a serious decision about protecting the students there. It’s a sad commentary that i expect a teacher to be more aggressive than the “professional” but time is of the essence and red tape and confusion cost lives. Teachers are in the building already. They have the best chance at intervening imho.
UNTIL you figure out how to READ A PSYCHOPATHS MIND, I would recommend arming every competent teacher, principal, and janitor with an AR 15 and at least a 9 mm Beretta to defend themselves and their students!
