De Santis knew more about the Fla Republican party and government than Trump did about DC. As Rush pointed out many times, Trump’s appointees were recommended to him. He did not know them personally. Admittedly, Trump made some bad choices like the crazy black woman whatshername.

Desantis is a great governor and would no doubt be attacked beyond anything he has ever experienced if he runs for President. You have no idea how a Desantis Presidency would pan out but it is foolish to think the ruling class elite cabal wont do everything they have done to Trump.
Trump did lots of business in NYC. He is/was no amateur in picking dependable trustworthy people.
The problem wasn’t with Trumps pick it was with the available pool to choose from and the people who were advising him.

Trump was unprepared and that’s in him. He didn’t have a decent transition team to find and vet true loyal MAGA supporters for top jobs. That’s all on him. Failing to plan is planning to fail.
And Trumps carelessness in hiring continued all the way through his time as president. Bad hire after bad hire after bad hire.
In contrast, Desantis is disciplined, focused and strategic. Desantis in 2024.
Maybe some of you Freepers will figure this whole game out when DeSantis announces that he wants to name John Bolton as his Secretary of State and George Conway as his AG.

Actually DeVos had one major accomplishment for which I’ll be forever grateful: she restored due process for men accused of rape in college. I had 2 boys in college during her time as Secretary of Education. I still have 1 son in college and his rights will be taken away by Biden next month. Any woman mad at my son can now destroy his life. He has a steady long term college girlfriend now but I still worry. God bless Betsy DeVos. For a brief period of time men had due process rights in college. Now they’ll only have kangaroo courts.
(Also she was against the moral hazard of mass student loan forgiveness and she fought against it tooth and nail.)

You can’t trust ANYONE in Washington. The WHOLE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT exists in a state of enmity to the American people at this point. There is no longer any reason to vote, or to participate with this government at all. All we can do is resist its tyranny by any moral means.
