Wishful watching ... Putin is doing what I used to do when I had to stand for too long. He is flexing the large muscles in his legs to keep circulation up. Tensing one muscle against another is a good technique. The guard at the Buckingham palace have been taught to curl their toes and flex large muscles to prevent stagnant circulation in their lower extremities.

The clip was way too short to develop any opinion at all. Usual pea brained post by megamucus.

“Wishful watching”

Sometimes I think these people actually believe their own propaganda.

Putin walked out on stage 15 seconds before he got the shakes.

He was NOT standing for a LONG time.

Interchange your mention of Russian leaders with say, Chinese leaders.
Irony, huh?

Admit it, Maxy, you have bondage fantasize about Putin. The only question is, do you want to be the one tied to the bedposts or do you want to tie up Putin and have your way with him?

I bet you have pictures of Putin riding with the horse with shirt off on your computer.

Putin has killed less people unjustly than US Presidents during his reign in office.

Equating Putin and modern-day Russia to the old Soviet Union not only demonstrates complete ignorance about Russia but is also rooted Russophobia.

Everything you believe is true about Russia is actually true about Zelensky, the Ukrainian government and the neo-Nazi influence in it.

Probably will change, as Putin does not depend on collaborative government. Its been noted that he is very much a one-man band, more so even than Stalin. He has his own very personal bees in the bonnet. Whoever wins the coming power struggle will be a very different character, with a very different set of bees in the bonnet.

It is always this way with his kind.

Bad health happens to Chinese leaders.
China watchers pay attention, and Chinese leaders do too, and avoid the appearance of weakness. Its a very big deal over there.

Nothing at all about Russian Federation’s national or international policies and objectives will materially change should he die. It is all baked in. The old Soviet empire, so far as possible, is still their goal. Up to now, they just did not have the necessary capital to make it work.

But with the scarcity of oil on the world market, they stand to gain a great deal of foreign exchange by the sale of crude to China and even to India, who resells it to the European nations, thus bypassing “sanctions”.

One sanction that would REALLY work, and force the Russian Federation back into penury? The US begins to work at becoming totally self-sufficient in natural gas and crude oil production, enough so that there is a glut on the international markets as we become a net EXPORTER, driving down the world prices.

Petroleum and natural gas is entirely fungible. The place that can sell it competitively and in even something of an oversupply, will put enough pressure on all other producers to either become more efficient, or give up the business altogether. Kind of like Standard Oil and J.D. Rockefeller did back in the late 19th and early 20th Centuries.

Russia is condemned to repeat its curse of despotic government and social incapacity. Russia cannot develop normally as a “high trust” society. It cant create a high productivity modern economy. And it has no defense against the next predatory clique that comes out on top in the coming struggle among predatory cliques.

Russia suffers from a historical curse, its misbegotten rebirth from being a Mongol client state. It is tainted.

Natural Gas in itself is not fungible. It depends a great deal on location. It is a matter of where the gas comes from and where you can put pipelines.

That is the reason for the European energy problems this year. Its not easy to get off the teat once the pipelines are in the ground.

Now, if you are talking LNG, that can be shipped by sea, thats another thing entirely.
