The shroud is flattened to two dimensions. It would have been wrapped in three dimensions. Distortion would be expected.

There is no way to prove it is the very cloth that hat wrapped the body of Christ. That said, it otherwise could be authentic, just not proveable.
I’ll love k at it with interest as a scientist and a believer, but it, fragments of the cross, the spear thrust, the cup etc.have no relevance to my faith in the Son of God, my Savior.
The shroud isnt important as to why I believe. Christ is. Do you not read what people write?

He was not the modest one. It would have been Joseph of Aremathea and others who assisted with the burial. Was probably common practice.
I have studied many things about the shroud. I have found that it is assuredly the burial clothes of Jesus Christ.
