There should not be a "learning curve" in a job like this. She holds a position at the highest level of government, speaking for the President of the United States. Someone given a job with that much responsibility needs to be able to hit the ground running on Day One. This is not an entry level position.

This piece sounds like she’s going to get the axe. Oh, it’ll be blamed on white supremacists who are stopping “progress.” But the ugly truth is that the Democrats have a history of elevating unqualified blacks into powerful positions only to watch them crash and burn or get indicted over something later.
She’d “face a steep learning curve” figuring out how to work a new toaster. Affirmative Action is a slap in the face to all parties.

If by "adept" they mean Psaki constantly saying "I'll circle back on that one" and then not doing so, then that's a pretty weak interpretation of being adept. Neither of these two twits has been good at the job, the media just gives them a pass because they're on the right team.

She is a flipping idiot, and why would we expect anyone better because she was hired by an idiot.
They’re using her to create a distraction. They know she’s an idiot and they want everyone talking about her.
So steep she cannot make it. This is purely a case of affirmative action, and the only reason she got the job.
