I agree with you on most of your disdain for the Bushes. But whenever I fuss about Bush Sr, this 5-part compound word always comes to mind to make me at least a little grateful:

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas

“The case begged the question of whether a “reasonable observer” would associate Kennedy’s prayer as a government endorsement of his religion...”

Since when does endorsement equal establishment?

God is moving because the righteous are still standing and praying for our nation!

Continue to pray for the US and the peace of Jerusalem!

This court seems to be devoted to redrawing the lines between states rights and fed rights. Not a horrible legacy.

The recent reversal of Roe didn’t really change anything, except now each state needs to make their own law now and can’t kick the can down the road.

First Amendment rights are not shed by signing a government employment contract.

Great decision!

MAGA!

5 for 5 so far. Maybe one more ruling today. And we can go 6 for 6.

Every state already has their own law(s) on abortion.

Now it's about keeping what they have in place....or legislating something new.

The Federal Government has usurped the Power of the States from the beginning. One of the earliest in my area is the 1790 law that said the Feds had to approve any Indian Treaty even though the Power was in the State.

Again, reminding the nation even a shcool cannot silence your own personal religious expression.

I noted in today’s news about the case, that in regard to a complaint from two sets of parents whose sons had some conern about their not joining the coach with his prayer on the field (and that was mentioned in the case by the school who booted him), that the coach met with the two boys and made them the teams co-captains, and he said he did it because he respected their speaking their own mind instead of just going along with something they were not sure reflected their own belief. But, that act meant nothing to the stupid school officials, they still went after him anyway.

The army remained loyal. The Bourbons never purged the army of Bonaparte loyalists. Unfortunately, our regime is making tremendous strides purging ours. In modern society, Trump has been held as much incommunicado by big tech as Bonaparte was at St. Helena. That is exactly where the 1/6 Inquisition intends to keep him. Trump can’t rely on the military. Milley’s treachery during Trump’s administration was legendary. If anything, it’ll be more like 1789 than 1815 if and when Trump returns.

Anybody heard from George W MORON praising Alito or the decision to overturn Roe v. Wade?

I didn’t think so.

Bush family played us for fools all those years.

... what part of - OR PROHIBITING THE FREE EXERCISE THEREOF is so hard to understand?
People are so quick to spout the words “separation of church and state” without ever quoting the actual words of the First Amendment. It should be a requirement for anyone who spouts off separation of church and state in an interview to be required to then read the actual words of the First Amendment!

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof...”

Surprisingly large number of sensible rulings this session. Concealed carry = 2nd amendment protected. Abotion = not a constitutional right, send it to the state. Praying in public = protected 1st amendment right.
