Plan B is not an abortofactant it never was and never will be. It is the identical hormone that a good number of daily dose birth control pills use. It is a single higher dose unit that inhibits ovulation as all birth control pills do. Additionally as with other existing pills it also inhibits implantation of an egg into the uterine wall. This is no different than 90% of the prescribed BC pills on the market. It is designed for people who are intolerant of continuous hormonal doses or for people who had an event such as a condom breaks and need to be sure they don’t ovulate while viable semen is internally present.
At least argue with facts not BS. Plan B is and always will be FDA approved as long as conventional birth control is available it is identical to it. The pills have a three year shelf life. In the ideal medical sense one would only need to take one pill per month directly after ovulation thus inhibiting it’s implantation and the body will expel it as a woman always does via the menstrual cycle shedding of the uterine lining there is a 48 hour window after ovulation that the pill covers that’s it once that window is closed the chance of pregnancy falls to near zero for a whole cycle.
Plan C is the two drug combo that triggers the shedding of the uterine lining regardless of if pregnancy hormones are present and the second drug induces contractions to purge the uterine wall it is identical to a natural miscarriage and medical professionals cannot tell the difference between the two. All a woman has to do it take the first pill which is also used to treat diabetics then insert the second pill which is also used to treat ulcers wait 24 hours before seeing a doctor’s and even with blood tests there is no medical residues to prove one way or the other. The daily birth control pills work in identical ways. This is why those packs have a week long sugar pill dose with no hormones in it to trigger the shedding of the uterine lining and start the cycle again. Plan B does exactly the same thing and a woman should immediately have a menstrual shedding following a dose just like if they reached the end of the pack of conventional BC pills.
